I'm going to Cairo for a couple of days soon.... I have been there a couple of times, last time of which was at the age of 7! So, yeah... it is kinda my first trip to Egypt.
I'm taking your recommendations! Be it museums, restaurants, sites, old markets...etc.

wow i love cairo :-) well there are many good restaurants , there is a place called sangria i really like it, it's infront of the conrad hotel, also the buddha bar in the sofitel hotel, also the city stars mall has many restaurants and the nile towers too

yeah and i forgot the first mall the coffe shop they have is really good :-)

i reall recommend that you dont miss out these places :)
- Sangariya restaurant in front of conrad hotel "it was known min ziman ib kazino ilshajara" great food and view ..
- Abu Alseed resturant in alzamalek for high class kushari and egyptian food ..
- Taboula hotel in garden city .. lebanese restaurant .. u will spend ur time their wondering how they decorate it this way..
- there is a shop u have to visit bil doqqi nisait esma :S
- Tabasco cafe in maidan amman or in mosadaq st.
- 6ab3an city stars dont go bil weekends or lail u will hate urself
- if u will go for horse riding in saqara go to istabl al Jabri and ask for Mohd ..
- 7adeqat il azhar is cool , but its better to go there before 5 PM
- 6ab3an il7usain billaaaaail o gahwat najeeb ma7foth is a must

Avoid eating Salads.
