"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

Swollen Finger

While I was trying to sleep (Thursday in the evening) I felt pain/discomfort in my right index finger! I got worried so I switched on the light and looked at my finger... IT WAS SWOLLEN! I was not able to move/bend it easily without going ouch ouch ouch!!!

What happened! I dont remember what led to that! I did not work out, did I hit something? A splinter maybe? hmmm I dont remember :-(

Anyways... I decided to ignore it and slept to wake up in the morning to find some redness in the area.. and I was still in pain.

I went to the ER, the doctor told me that I need to see a specialist because he couldnt really tell what was wrong. He gave me an antibiotic and a pain killer. He noticed the redness and also pointed out that the swollen finger was warmer than my other fingers.

Earlier today... I went to the specialist. He examined it, and sent me for X-Rays and blood tests. My blood pressure was 85/60 (which is kinda normal in my case) but I was so dizzy... when they were drawing blood I almost felt like fainting.. but I didnt *phew!* but the blood was going into the tube so darn slow... I wanted to throw up!! eeeeek!

Tomorrow I go in again for the results and then again in a couple of weeks for the results that they sent abroad! I am sure its nothing, but I dont know why I am stressing over it!

So to feel better about my swollen poor finger I colored my nails LOL!

My blood test result came out! I dont have rheumatoid! :-D Thats what the doctor was afraid of.. I got another medication though and hmmm I have an appointment in two weeks for the blood test that was sent abroad. YAAAAAY

I twisted my ankle Friday morning! I was in cranky mood... wearing my "abaya" and heading to a funeral... I tripped on the stairs and twisted my right ankle!

Like I needed the extra stress now!

I then continued my day with no problem! At some point in the evening, I felt a tingling pain! It hurts the most when I walk or step on my right foot..

Saturday, I went to a staff event. My dad told me to wear flat shoes... I was a good girl and I listened! It was ok, but still my foot hurt! I have been taking Ibuprofen two nights in a row! It helped.. but now at work I twisted my ankle AGAIN! OUCH!

Its not swollen but it hurts! I dont want to go check! I am fine! But I guess I needed to vent here on the blog! So thank you for listening... or in our case; READING!

This just came into mind

Back in 2007.... Me and two of my co-workers were waiting for the elevator to go home, when we entered... it was PACKED! Full of employees from different companies...

So remember my Laughing in the Elevator post?

Well... I started to giggle hehehehe..

Co-Worker-I telling Co-Worker-II: Hey! Stop Touching Me
(keeping in mind that he was not touching him, but they were just being silly and all LOL)

Me: after trying hard not to laugh... and we are so close to reach ground floor.... 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... GROUND FLOOR.... Door Opens.. HAHAHAHAHA!

Screw the Rules!

Last night was one helluva night!!! All the rules of logic did not apply to me! All the lines that were never meant to be crossed were invisible... kinda! LOL

It felt good though!

Doing something different for a change really helps!

I was feeling down, stressed, tired, and sad!

Today? I am feeling better :-)

Oh and for those people who have their minds wandering FAR away! Get real!!! :-P
