If you remember my April 19th Post "Scattered Thoughts" well then you will remember me saying something like leaving blogger and saying goodbye to you all on May 18th! Well, the day is tomorrow... and I have made up my mind!
So as I was driving to work I felt a bit dizzy and dropped by Salam Hospital to see an ENT specialist. I thought OK I will take some meds and go to work afterwards. The doctor was like NO! You are not going to work.. you are going home and will rest for three good days! So I guess all my plans for tomorrow are postponed! :-(
I will try to update you as much as I can from now till tomorrow, for my last post here...
And what the hey! I will always have twitter!
"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

Wordpress Problem!?
How come sometimes when I want to leave a comment on a wordpress blog I find someone else's Name, email, and website? Its annoying me because I would leave a comment without checking sometimes and it would turn out to look like someone else posted it, or direct them to the wrong website or email for that matter! Anyone?

For Marzouq
This post is for Marzouq!
Will the real Adriana Lima please stand up?
I don't think I have ever seen Adriana look so plain and reserved. Normally she's wearing an ultra short mini, her hair has that 'just got out of bed' look, and she's giving us that signature pout.
If you are wondering what happen, she got married.
Why do these chicks get married, or start dating someone, and lose their identity?

UPDATE on Déjà Vu
Earlier today I posted two videos under the title Déjà Vu. I was not so happy about Oqsim being somehow the copy of Obama's I Pledge campaign.
On Oqsim blog they mention that they got inspired by "I Pledge" Campaign!
Thank you Aurous.

I called them up and their line was busy for like 30 mins, I go on 6alabat and their menu there is not updated and does not include muffins... Their Live Chat people wont even help in that! What to do! I need the menu to check if there is another phone number to call and Kuwait The Paper Dump "KTPD" pops into mind! Voila! I found it here.

Shoes in Sharq
After reading Jewaira's "Have My Shoe!" I recalled that I have seen some shoes (a pile of shoes) on the ground near the parking lot we use at work! So I told Jewaira that I will post some pictures about it. Jewaira was wondering if it was part of the phenomenon! What do you all think?

Free.dom [free-duhm] - noun: The power or right to act, speak or think as one wants WITHOUT hindrance or restraint.
Do not oppress bloggers for they seek freedom,
Do not harass bloggers for they seek support,
Do not verbally abuse bloggers for they expect respect.
We don’t mind criticism. We enjoy your feedbacks and comments almost all the time. But resorting to personal attacks and threats is not acceptable. Thinking that you have a say over what topics we can and cannot post is delusional thinking, you do not have a say when it comes to that. Blogging is fun, let’s keep it that way.

The Paper Dump

"Ever thrown away a brochure, a leaflet, or a take-away menu thinking you wouldn’t need it again and ended up regretting it later on? The Paper Dump is exactly what the name suggests: a place where scraps of paper can be stored digitally so that you or anybody else can resort to them for or reference or information"
I am loving this idea a lot ;-)

One Fine Day In My Bloggersphere....
I was walking around with Hamitaf.. here and there, and everywhere around the ZDistrict area, snapping away pictures as we were walking.... till it suddenly gone a lil wonky... Speedy passed by us so fast! Eshda3wa!! Take it easy man!!!! A few minutes later we ran into Ananyah who was walking around wearing her dreamy smile, and Rashisha who was videotaping Mama De Moda, wearing a very beautiful Pearly earrings, while shopping a la Kuwait-Style!
"I am Bored ladies! Lets all have lunch!" I suggested
"Where?" Asked Hamitaf
"Anything goes! I am fine, as long as its healthy diet food for Rashisha's sake"
We decided to call Chika, since she knows the Kuwaiti Network really well! She suggested we try out Grey Fort Indian restaurant... I was fine, but was worried Hamitaf would not like it since she is a fastidious eater! Surprisingly, she was the first to agree!
The day was going fine, till I started feeling sick... so we rushed into the ER to get some medical help. The patient before me was taking forever and I was in pain! I felt like KILLING THAT DAMN PATIENT!!!! But thats the system here in Kuwait!!!!
By the time I went back home, I was starting to feel much better and wanted to blog all along about my day.... I found some interesting pictures to upload, many of which got some interesting contrast in them! Lovely... But why am I yawning this much?? What time is it?? Oh My God!! Its 2:48am!!! I better go get some ZzZzZz's

I am Courage!
I did this interesting Quiz after I read Big Pearl's post :-)
My quiz result...
Your Result: Courage
You are Courage.
Courage is bravery, daring to do what is right in the face of adversity. Courage allows for the triumph of good over evil. "Courage does what must be done no matter what the consequences."

How often do you let other people's nonsense change your mood?
Do you let a bad driver, rude waiter, curt boss, or an insensitive employee ruin your day?
However, the mark of a successful person is how quickly one can get back their focus on what's important.
David J. Pollay explains his story in this way….
Sixteen years ago I learned this lesson. I learned it in the back of a New York City taxi cab.
Here's what happened……………
I hopped in a taxi, and we took off for Grand Central Station. We were driving in the right lane when, all of a sudden, a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his breaks, skidded, and missed the other car's back end by just inches!
The driver of the other car, the guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and he started yelling bad words at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy - and I mean…he was friendly. So, I said, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!"
And this is when my taxi driver told me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
"Many people are like Garbage Trucks.
They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it.
And if you let them, they'll dump it on you. When someone wants to dump on you, don't take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You'll be happy you did.
"I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets? It was that day I said, "I'm not going to do it anymore."
Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets.
Love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe that everything happens for a reason. Never let the Garbage Truck run over you…
