"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

Pomegranate Phone NS08

One device that put so many things in the palm of your hand than you ever thought possible; phone, email, Internet, GPS Navigation, camera, projector, video, MP3 player, coffee brewer, shaver, harmonica… and more!

Pomegranate Phone NS08

Now the question is….. Did we take quick decisions with the BlackBerry hype? Maybe we should have waited for the Pomegranate?? It seems to beat the BlackBerry in many things by far! Its smaller, thinner, and got more options! It combines work and fun!! It combines two things in one… eliminate the need of separate instruments (Shaver + Phone in the same time, you can shave while talking). Awesome! I like the Global Voice Translator too, very useful tool (50 languages)… with that feature, language is never a barrier!!

But then again, click on the "Release Date"... it will take you to Nova Scotia, Canada. Its just a fake ad to grab your attention and get you interested in visiting their site :-P

My point is… I LOVE THIS AD! hahahaha

Thanks Mimmi!

474 Megapixel Image

As received by email!
Thanks Sara ;-)

**************

Here is a photo taken using a a panaroma image capturing device called gigapan created by the carnegie mellon university and a canon g10 camera.

The photographer had to click 220 snaps from that camera to get this complete view of the Obama's inaugural address. It took a macbook pro around 7hrs to process the complete image. The final size of the image is over 2GB.

Click here to look at the image. zoom in and see, you can easily kill several hours checking out all the faces there.

My Phone

I bought my phone back in March of 2007... its acting up all weird on me now.... I dropped it few times... accidently! I love it so much and so used to it, it is my second Sony Ericsson (ever since I used SE... I've decided not to switch back to Nokia) so any recommendation for a new phone?

I checked those online, but still undecided

Sony Ericsson W890i
Sony Ericsson G900
Sony Ericsson K770i

Your input will be highly appreciated :-P

My MacBook

OK, so I am in the transition stage still! I was a PC user my whole life and I switched to Mac last Sunday :-) So far, so good.. I am liking it more by the hour but still need to learn more to adjust to the new machine.

Well.. My Mac.... (INTEL CORE 2 DUO 1.83GHZ, 1GB (+512MB DDR2), 80GB HDD, 13.3"WIDE SCREEN , CD-RW/DVD-ROM COMBO, WEB CAM, MAC OS X)

To be honest, I have dabbled with Mac before, but never was a regular user on a non-window system.. and so the switching and transition is somewhat overwhelming to me LOL.

So, I picked up my cousin from school and we went together to get it from Marina Mall.. She is a Mac user and has been convincing me to get one. She is stuck with me now LOL, she will be my hotline for MacBook Q&A! We got there at around 5:45PM and left the store at almost 6:30PM when it was almost time for her to get back to school... I went back home and charged the battery and rushed out to Thai Chi for dinner with friends.. I was thinking throughout dinner about my Mac, but its just been a long day since I wake up every morning at around 5:50AM and go to work (7:30AM - 3:30PM). After dinner I got home and I was beat.. couldnt do much with my Mac but fiddling a bit with it heehee.

Yesterday was another busy day. I went to MTC and got E-Go (which is an easy plug and play connect card that offers mobility along with high speed connection).. The hassle was to get someone in MTC to set it up for me on Mac.... which is DONE as of last night ;-)

As far as I can tell now, the Mac is such a delight... light and easy to carry around. The keyboard buttons are so smooth and easy on the fingers!

I went online and checked my email... played a little, with my nephews, with the iSight camera functions...

Well today.... hmm I may try the DVD player.. will see how that goes with all, the quality of the picture and sound system!
