Did 6alabat Charges Go Up?

I ordered from 6alabat earlier and noticed their delivery charge went to 0.300 from 0.200! Since when? 2009? Anyone knows?

While I hate 6alabat for being spammers, this is their response to earlier post by Frankom. Delivery charge I guess is per restaurant.

Although I should note, they do charge the restaurant per order usually, so indirectly, the restaurant may want to increase the delivery charge to cover up the operational cost. From 6alabat side, they can say they didnt raise price, but the fact is they pushed the restaurant to raise it.

I'm a regular user on 6alabat and i hated the fact that they spammed their users, nevertheless you can't ignore the fact that i never got any more spams after bashar's post earlier last year (thanks bashar for that). Another fact is i have been using 6alabat for 3.5 years and not once did they change their pricing scheme as i previously sent them an email about this issue and it turns out that they have never charged any fees to their users if the restaurant already charges for delivery, 200 fils is all they charge (6alabat.com charges) the user only if the restaurant doesn't charge delivery fees. If the restaurant charges for delivery, you will see (delivery charges) and no 6alabat.com charges. I think frankom's post on bashar's comment is very clear.

To be frank, i only think they're even offering more services than before for the same fees they always charged. I really think you should check their website once again, i loooove 6alabat.com

Anonymous: Thanks for giving me this credit, although I did not take it this way. I really hope you are right, they read the comments, and took corrective measures. :)

6alabat doesn't indirectly charge the customer if the restaurant has a delivery charge i.e. KFC for example charges 250 fils delivery charge whether you order from 6alabat or ordering by phone and this applies to all the restaurants. this is my 2cents on the issue!
