"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

New McDonalds Ad

Have you seen the new McDonalds Ad? It is kinda disgusting!

I know I know.. they are showing us how fresh the food is.. but I just dont want to see it this way!
The meat gotta be the worst part! It is so hmmm! I still cant find the word to describe it. I mean I love cooking and I dont mind looking at red raw meat (I eat raw food - sushi lol).. but come on! Since that commercial.. I dont remember the last time I ate McDonalds... Not that I am a big fan or anything, but I know for a fact that there are a lot of people that would agree with me on this.
And the farmer is so dirty! Why? I know working in a farm means having dirt on your clothes.. but ewe! It looks like he dropped his coffee on him and didnt bother to change..
OK so now, when you look at the picture posted along with this blog.. its kinda showing you your meal LOL.... this is your quarter pounder in another dimension, bon apetit ;-P

I have not seen those ads in the states! I agree, the raw meat in an ad makes me feel uneasy!

They are trying to make us feel safe.

Here in Oman they are having a program called The Open Door program. Which basically gives you the chance to visit McDonald's kitchens every Saturday and Sunday on specific times and specific restaurants. The weird thing is that they were very strict in setting their rules for having this visit to their kitchens. [you can check it on my blog, I wrote about it last week]. Apparently all those rules were set JUST to make us "feel" safe with McDonald's quality and food.
