"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

Copycats!

Earlier this year Wataniya had those similar to "Baby On Board" ads stuck on windows on randomly chosen cars with funny quotes referring to life on the internet. Yesterday VIVA came up with a copied idea of the ads.. only with different color and text! This is ridiculously funny! Can they be more creative than this? And this happened when I was all about how I love their VIVA Internet - Anytime Anywhere ad campaign! Why take a step back! Why COPY!!

ok !!
Il wateniya used to copy a Chaines or japanes add last Ramadan!!! The red carpet thing!! All of them do the same so y its 7araaam 3ala VIVA and 7alal for wataniya !!

Well I take that back coz Nossa just explained that the wataneya add was before the Thai one so sorry Nosaa and Sorry wanaeya BUT AGAIN none of them are curative like the other Telecom companies ! Maybe Zain is # 1 and not that zoood !

When it comes to copying, I don't think any telecom company did not copy the other at one point or another. Between Wataniya and Zain, it happened so many times in terms of ads and services.

I do agree though for a new comer, they were doing fine on their own. And the car thing looks in photos like normal paper, not something fancy to copy. Vivia one looks a bit better, but if a telecom company is doing this, it should be like a real baby on Board one. Unless photos are misleading ofcourse, then I take it back.

Yeah but this is TOO obvious... and VIVA did not even wait a while to copy it.... they did it right after Wataniya did!
Other than that I really like their simple VIVA Internet campaign! It just turns ugly when someone try too hard...

I think it's more of "Reverse Engineering" which is better than copying. they took the wataniya idea, made it look so much better and re-used it. same deal with all products around the world

why wataniya one looks bad? simply the font is TINY for a car ad .. and it has nothing to do with the "car" stuff.
Viva one has visible font and the context is much more relevant to driving

and I agree with Bashar, it looks nothing like a baby-on-board , I thought it was a greeting card lol
