"Gather Ye Rosebuds While Ye May" is a poem by Robert Herrick. This poem portrays our existence on earth, and that people age as life goes on, and everything becomes boundless. Herrick here urges people to take advantage of youth and energy while they may! The poem is in the genre of carpe diem, to seize the day.

Hes in a Better Place :-)
Tarek passed away! Yes and I have to accept the fact that he's gone but will be in our memories forever.
He was more than a cousin to me.... he is the brother I never had!
I still remember him and I will always do! I started to browse back in earlier times... remembering how for years and years, every Saturday before he got sick, he'd have lunch at our house. He'd call during the week and ask us out for coffee.. he loved to go to coffee shops!
He visited us while we were studying in the States (me and my sisters)... and it was one of the best summer vacations we had with his family! Memories I will treasure forever and ever.
I remember how he overused the word "Calimera" on so many occasions! I also remember him for calling us "habboba" meaning my dear...
Tarek got sick in the Summer of 2006, and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer... it was a long battle for him, he loved live and exceeded the doctor's expectations!
He did not complain, whine, or annoy those around him... he was patient and believed that whatever happened... happened for a reason!
I was not surprise to realized how much he was loved and by how many! My dad told me that so many people came for his burial services, and a lot of people are dropping by to give in their sympathies and condolences.... a lot mashalla! He was and will always be loved by a lot of people.
He died surrounded by us... his family. He tried to stay conscious and called us by names... he would look at us, gazing for long moments... his eyes were saying a lot.
His daughter started reciting some verses of the Quran and while doing so she noticed how much he was sweating! They called in the doctors, his vital signs were going down, I cried fearing that moment... where he will leave us... his heart stopped but then came back again, I hugged my sister... but he just came back to recite some verses of the quran himself... said a little prayer after his wife and daughter, both eyes teared, he then started to look up and I skipped a heartbeat! He's leaving... he then looked at his daughter, smiled... and left.... to a better place.... Yes Tarek died on Friday, February 9th leaving us with amazing memories :-)
God rest his soul.
