Warbah


I was browsing the net and came upon this picture of Warbah Island! It's the first time I see a picture of that island. Warbah Island is located in the mouth of Euphrates River.
Roughly speaking, the island is 100 meters east of Kuwait mainland and one kilometers south of Iraq. It is about five kilometers wide and 15 kilometers long.
As you can tell from the picture... the island is basically a large mud flat! There are clearly no permenant inhabitants, but the government is maintaining a coast-guard post called M-1.
