Lemon and Cloves to Repel Flies
Apparently! This is an effective method to repel flies (and some other insects)
I've heard of this "fly repelent" but I thought you stuck the cloves in whole lemons the same way you do oranges for a Christmas decoration but I see by the picture that you quarter the lemons to leave the flesh exposed. That makes more sense to me. gracemb
Hy friends, I am in Spain, and here we also use this to repel flies. I am trying and I think it works. I open the lemon by half and put the cloves. Thank you for sharing this small and beautiful issues.

Yeah if it turns out effective thats great... cuz you know with all those repellents the smell is not all that!
