Well.. the one on the left is bigger....
I was shopping at the Avenues last Tuesday and got the one on the left from "The ZONE" (the store is right below MAKI) for KWD 17.000
My sister found the one on the right in Al Faiha Coop. and bought. She came home and asked me... "How much do think this is for? a little bit below KWD 4.000!!!!"
Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Shop smart people, and know where to shop! Its just a laundry rack, and they are practically almost the same.
Wow quite a difference in price but not so much in design! It's always best to shop around before buying something for the house so that you don't wind up with buyer's remorse. Any chance you can return the one you bought?

ReplyDeleteBecause of the moving process and all.. I lost the receipt. I looked it up, but with no use.. I think our maid threw it away, but really never thought I would find such laundry rack at any coop. I have been shopping for one forever and when I saw this one at the ZONE I was like this is the one!

ReplyDeleteI think you can find all household things cheaper in City Centre in Salmiya ... Some items are even cheaper in places like Mahameed etc..Malls just rob you under the brand name !

Haha I find it funny, a post for laundry rack especially with all the above comments :D but YOU HAVE A VERY VALID HIDDEN MSG.. it's always better to look around before buying.. this cud be a small thing compared to other big things we buy without considering searching for more options .. :-*

I am getting used to the fact that my laundry basket is bigger and more durable LOL.. but one of my friend came to our house last night and told me she would never have bought such thing for 17 KWD! She said its over-priced anyway!!!

ReplyDeleteActually it is 0.750 and my friend told me yesterday and took a picture of it too for me.. Its a bit different design, unlike the two I have posted. I will prepare a new post later today with the IKEA one. Thanks!
